COMPOSITION:

Enrofloxacin......................................... 200 mg.
Solvents ad.......................................... 1 ml.
DESCRIPTION:
Enrofloxacin belongs to the group of quinolones and acts bactericidal against mainly Gram-negative bacteria like Campylobacter, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella and Salmonella spp.
Indications:
Fluoroquinolone. Used to treatcontrol chronic respiratory diseases inpoultry, septic colibacillosis, malignant rhinitis, Pasteurella, salmonellosis, Staphylocosis, swine dysentery, endemic epidemic pneumonia, swine hydropsy, cattle colibacillosismastitis.
Dosage and Administration:
By oral administration.
Poultry and Swine: 10mg Enrofloxacin per kg bodyweight, equal to about 25~50ml Enrofloxacin per 100L water, for 3~7 days continuously.Calves, goats and sheep : 0.5ml Enrofloxacin per 50kg body weight, every 24 hours for 3~7 days continuously.
Note: for pre-ruminant calves, lambs and kids only.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
Hypersensitivity to enrofloxacin.
Administration to animals with a serious impaired liver and/or renal function.
Concurrent administration with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, macrolides and lincosamides.
SIDE EFFECTS:
Administration to young animals during growth, can cause cartilage lesions in joints.
Hypersensitivity reactions.
Withdrawal times:For meat: 12 days
